I understand widely known but rarely understood pieces of philosophy in the context of the wider meaning of the works in which they appear, therefore I am.
Or also possibly read, and thinking can never fail you.
I am loved by a dog, therefore I am.

She does not have two different colored eyes in real life, but I agree they look that way a little bit in this light! I also agree with the battle-hardened mercenary thing :o)

I sleep, therefore I am. I wanted to be more creative, but my complete and utter exhaustion today suggests that "sleep" would be much more accurate than anything spiffy I could come up with.

Since I often wonder if I am just a composite of every book I have ever read, I would say:
I READ, therefore I am.

Either I have no creativity at all, or I believe too much in that which rene descartes said. The former has constantly been proved wrong, therefore I'm going to study philosophy in university.
